About Alison Verge
I spent nearly 30 years helping people navigate complex relationships. Then I had to rebuild my own.
Before Path2Love Mastery, I was a Senior Account Director, Operations VP, and liaison between organizations, clients, teams, and stakeholders. After a life-changing accident, CRPS, a wheelchair, chronic pain, the end of a 20-year marriage, and years of rebuilding my health and love life, I created L.O.V.E. Engineering™ to help singles and couples understand the patterns that keep love stuck, and change them in real life.
The professional foundation
Before I called it relationship intelligence, it was the work I did every day.
For nearly 30 years, my work was built around relationships.
As a Senior Account Director, Operations VP, and liaison between organizations, I was responsible for facilitating trust, aligning expectations, managing major campaigns, and keeping complex work moving when different people, teams, and priorities had to come together.
I learned how to read the room, manage pressure, navigate difficult conversations, repair misalignment, and help people move toward a shared outcome.
At the time, I thought of it as account leadership, operations, and campaign management.
Now I see it more clearly.
It was relationship intelligence.
The turning point
Then life forced me to apply the work to myself.
After a skiing accident, I developed CRPS and chronic pain. At one point, I was in a wheelchair.
At the same time, I was navigating the end of my 20-year marriage and the collapse of the identity I had built around my old life.
I had to rebuild almost everything.
- My body.
- My confidence.
- My identity.
- My future.
- My relationship with love.
The rebuild
I know what it means to fight your way back.
CRPS is one of the most painful chronic conditions, and living through it changed how I understood resilience, connection, and the cost of pretending everything is fine.
I know what it feels like when the life you built no longer matches the body, relationship, or future you are standing in.
But I also know what it means to rebuild.
I rebuilt my health. I rebuilt my confidence. I rebuilt my relationship with love.
And since 2018, I have been in a deeply meaningful relationship that reflects the kind of connection I once wondered if I could still have.
I did not create this work from theory alone. I created it from lived experience, training, and rebuilding my own life.
The method behind the mission
What changed was not just meeting the right person. What changed was seeing the pattern.
I had to understand the ways I protected myself, the beliefs I did not know were steering me, the independence that was sometimes strength and sometimes armor, and the old responses that once made sense but were no longer serving me.
That work became the foundation of L.O.V.E. Engineering™.
Today, I help accomplished singles and couples understand the pattern underneath the struggle, clear what keeps repeating, and build the skills to choose, communicate, repair, and connect differently.
